Of all the vessels you can hire, the pedalo is definitely a family favourite! A cheaper, fun option that both young and old will enjoy You can choose between different routes, such as exploring theLac de Sainte-Croix, the entrance to the Gorges du Verdon (Grand Canyon) or accessing the beach, la Plage de Cadeno. Life jackets are included in the hire price so younger ‘sailors’ are free to enjoy their experience safely.

5-PLACE PEDALOS
For larger families who want to explore les Gorges du Verdon, we have a fleet of pedalos Each pedalo can take up to 5 people. The best way for the family not to be separated during the activity.
If there are several families in your group, you also have the option of hiring 3-place pedalos.
DO THE PEDALOS HAVE A ROOF TO PROTECT FROM THE SUN? DO THEY HAVE A SLIDE?
Our pedalos do not have a roof. It is therefore essential that you bring sun cream. It is very hot in summer and you can quickly get sunburnt. Keep children protected with hats and sunglasses.
Our pedalos do not have slides. Swimming is forbidden in the Grand Canyon! However, you can enjoy swimming in the turquoise open waters of le Lac de Sainte-Croix. Nonetheless, please be aware that it can be difficult to climb back on board the pedalo.
IS PEDALING TIRING ?
The speed of your pedalo will depend how strong your legs are. You do not need to be a world-class athlete to hire a pedalo! With two parents/adults pedalling, you will be able to move along the Gorges du Verdon fairly easily.
Withonly one parent/adult, you will need more strength to pedal. unless of course your child is strong enough to help you.
