Slide Slide

This route is closed in 2022 ! The famous waterfall, Cascade de Tuf, is located at the western end of the Gorges du Verdon. It owes its name to travertine, or ‘tuf’ as it is more commonly known, the substance over which the waterfall flows. It is made from calcium carbonate naturally present in the springs that emerge at the base of the Barbin rock face.

This site hosts a wealth of biodiversity across an area of 26 hectares, such as numerous species of bat that live in the caves and surrounding rock faces.
« La Cascade de Tuf » provides a utopic setting where you can enjoy the freshness and natural fragrances of the surrounding landscape.
